This weekend we added one more member to the family. I’ll give you a hint- he has fuzzy legs, floppy ears, and a little tail that will make you giddy with the cuteness of it… That’s right, our newest family member is a 3 year old rescued Cockapoo named Levi. And we are already in love with the little guy.
Look at that face! (Excuse me while I gush over our new puppy and die of the absolute cuteness!) We picked him up on Sunday night, so we’re still trying to adjust to the new schedule and getting to know each other but it’s an adjustment we’re willing (and eager) to make.
We wake up earlier and go to bed sooner, all this play time really wears us out! Our mornings, afternoons, and evenings are filled with nice long walks to stretch his little legs. He’s a very curious little guy who likes to sniff absolutely everything in his path.
Although, there is nothing he likes more than having a good old fashioned game of tug-o-war with us. Last night, Ben stopped by for dinner and absolutely wore the little guy out. Levi was a good sport and conked out in his little corner, fast asleep:
Levi is a really smart little guy, and would rather us be home all day to play with him (okay, I kind of want to do that too…) but someone has to bring home the kibble!
Overall, we think that he’s getting used to having us around and giving him lots and lots of love. He is the sweetest little guy we have ever met, and are counting our blessings that his home is with us. I’m sure you’ll see more of him in the future, whether that be from photo-bombing out our latest project or just giving a little update to how this little guy is doing, there will be more to see of our little fur-baby! For now, we’re just enjoying getting to know each other and having a ball (oh yeah, pun intended!)!
